Anita McCoy heads up the team that creates online stores, which is a key offering that sets Callard apart when it comes to promotional marketing. As project manager, Anita builds each online store and oversees the process from start to finish.
How long have you been with Callard and why do you love your job?
I’ve been with Callard for six years. I love being able to take an idea from a client and turn it into a fully functional website. I’ve also been very excited lately to be working with some great new team members.
Can you take me through your day-to-day duties?
I spend my days reviewing projects for clients, creating graphics for web stores, reviewing inventory and providing system maintenance.
What are some of the different types of packages Callard offers?
It really depends on the needs of the client. Some of our corporate clients are looking for longer-term solutions, such as being able to offer a uniform program or an online company store. For other clients, we’re putting together short-term projects. Examples would be customer appreciation initiatives, year-end gifts or programs tied to the holidays.
What are some of the examples of ways clients have used the online stores?
Corporations can use online stores as an easy way to outfit their entire team in uniforms. They can use them to give associates an easy place to purchase anything from branded mugs to jackets to use as gifts or to show their pride. They can create an online portal for incentive or recognition programs using points or gift codes.
Callard prides itself on the flexibility offered to each client. What are a few examples of the ways you work with clients in a flexible way?
Callard offers so many different options for customizing online stores. Some of the most beneficial for clients include special billing and reporting features, allowing the company to analyze purchasing trends and manage budgets. We can also provide multiple store designs, create special collections, and design the store to be a profit center.
What are a few of the favorite specific projects you’ve worked on for clients?
One of my favorites is My Heinz, which offers custom ketchup bottle labels. It allows people to get creative in customizing labels for bottles that can be used for personalized gifts and favors. A few other great projects have been an employee apparel store for Red Wing Shoes and an gift of appreciation store for Ohio Health Associates.
